Exciting Job opportunities with Changing Minds

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two early career Clinical Psychologists to join our Child and Family Service: one based in the North West of England and one based in Birmingham.

Changing Minds UK is an organisation of Applied Psychologists (Clinical, Counselling, Forensic and Sport) and Therapists who work across a range of settings. We pride ourselves on a willingness to apply a broad range of psychological theory flexibly to meet the needs of a range of clients. We aim to empower clients and systems to grow and develop through promoting shared understanding and coordination action, which lives beyond our involvement with our clients.

The Child and Family Service at CMUK works closely with a range of agencies such as children’s charities, Local Authorities, fostering and adoption support services, educational settings, residential care and the secure estate, to provide high quality psychological consultation and support. We are looking for two full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our team. One  post would be based primarily in Warrington, but would involve travel across the North West, and the other post would be based primarily in Birmingham but would involve travel across the Midlands.  As part of their role, the postholders would undertake a range of activities such as comprehensive psychological assessments, formulations (individual and team), therapeutic work, psychological consultations, developing and facilitating training sessions, and providing supervision as appropriate.
Continuing Professional Development is actively encouraged, and the postholders would be supported to attend relevant training, clinical supervision, peer support and team days.
